The British transatlantic industry found itself in the eye of the storm before the whole world with the eminent failure of the Olympic-class flagships; from the White Star Line:
The Olympic; which demonstrated, on September 25, 1911, the very poor quality of the steel, when hit by the battleship HMS Hawke, of the Royal Navy.
The Titanic; whose tragedy went viral in hours worldwide, when it sank on April 14, 1912, which claimed 1,513 lives.
The Britannic, which was unable to withstand the terrorist attack while serving as a hospital ship in the Mediterranean Sea, and sinking on November 21, 1916, in the splendor of the First World War.
